Clock not keeping time (but working)

Shout out to anyone who might have suggestions for finding root cause for the clock not keeping time. When the car is off for ~1 hour ormore, upon restarting, the clock resets to 1:00.

 

When it resets to 1:00 it keeps time from that point until the engine is off for ~1 hour or so. If the engine is off and restarted in less than ~1 hour, the time keeps advancing from the original 1:00 reset time.

 

I've checked the illumin fuse and both clock fuses listed in the owner manual. Has anyone encountered this before? Thank you!

Turns out it just needed a new battery--whew!

yeah, if the voltage is too low, when you try to start the car it will reset the ECU and the clock and stuff (i.e. similar to unhooking the car battery).
