ProtoSound Posted April 10, 2019 Share Posted April 10, 2019 Just bought a right-hand-drive 1999 2.2 for rural postal delivery. Not running very well, and poor mileage, even for constant start and stop. Inspection of engine revealed a missing vacuum line (pic below). I can see no obvious place where this tube should go, and no unconnected lines that could go here are visible anywhere in the engine compartment. xrayspecs Posted April 11, 2019 Share Posted April 11, 2019 IIRC thats the vent for the head on the side its on, the other side of the airbox should have a similar vaccum line you can follow that runs down to the top of the heads to vent them.
