Subahoon Posted April 6, 2019 Share Posted April 6, 2019 08 legacy 3.0R. Will get misfires in some or all cyl. rough idle. Lack of power under load (when accelerating or going up hill). If I just keep driving it in a few days the problem will go away completely. Car will run great. In a week or two the problem will come back. This has happened off and on for about 2 months. The only consistency I’ve noted is that when the misfires are occurring the motor seems slow to warm up or operating temperature. FL6T Posted April 16, 2019 Share Posted April 16, 2019 Sounds similar to an issue I was having with my 2009 3.0r, ended up being bad/dirty OCV valves otherwise known as VVT solenoids. I had the OCV valves replaced, spark plugs, drive belt, tensioners and pulleys all done at the same time and haven’t had any issues since. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
