The shaft has wear marks through the anodized costing above the pivot sphere. Is that indicative of a returned shifter or a QC in production? 2. The lower shaft is not centered on the pivot bushing, as the upper shaft is (about 1/8" off to the driver's side) Is that normal? Just want to know before I tear into the car today. Thanks.
