Amir Posted September 28, 2018 Share Posted September 28, 2018 Hi guys, I got myself an JDM EJ20Y(RHD) engine with a complete wiring, stock ECU, transmission, etc from a 2005 subaru legacy GT, now my car here is a 2008 subaru legacy 2.0R and is a LHD car, i wanna swap these engines, my mechanic here says it's better to get an aftermarket ECU and not go through the wiring, although he can go through the complete wiring but he says it will have issues regarding reliability since my car will be used everyday, he believes it's better to use an aftermarket ECU, anyone here has done this swap?
