Perscitus Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 And might as well read here: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/everything-you-wanted-know-subarus-knock-prevention-strategy-254139.html Generally ignore FKC and FLKC (especially if not becoming more negative at steady RPM/Load/Boost) when: Load <1/1.1g/rev Boost <5 psi (especially if 0 or operating under vacuum) Throttle plate <50% and not steady RPM < 1.5-2K RPM So yes, either disable the knock alerts (fairly useless without additional filters) and/or set the sensitivity to at least -3 degrees or more pulled.
