fenix30 Posted August 15, 2018 Share Posted August 15, 2018 So i picked up a couple junkyard front struts to cut and fill with koni inserts. Driver side from an 05 LGT and the passenger side from an 06 LGT. When i took the top hats off i noticed the upper spring seats were different. The 06 LGT spring seat had what almost looks like a spacer welded to the top. The 05 didnt have this. Now seeing as how this part of the spring seat doesnt contact anything im guessing its just a reinforcement change from 05-06? Should i order a matching seat or does it even matter?
