BobbyR Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 There may be a simple answer to this but the manual is vague and I can't find an answer in Search. With my iPhone connected with Bluetooth I am able to do voice commands to the Suburu system with a short press of the Voice button and with Siri using an extended press of the button. However, when using CarPlay (USB connection), I can only talk to Siri and have to disconnect my phone if I want to communicate with the Subaru system. I have tried extended press and selecting the Subaru button on the screen. There must be some way of talking to the onboard Nav (for example) without disconnecting my iPhone. midas Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 If you try to do a manual search, IOW typing it in, with the built in nav while you're moving you'll get a screen telling to stop the car or press the on screen button for voice command.
