ammcinnis
Kinda makes you wonder why all the hype is only about electric cars in the future?? Because most of the infrastructure needed to support electric vehicles is already in place. BobbyR
Hydrogen cells have the added advantage of quick re-fueling which makes them a practical alternative to regular cars for long road trips. Building out the infrastructure is a problem for both technologies but the Hydrogen cell really does seem to have the edge over battery powered electric. Extended range and quick re-fueling are a requirement for a replacement to the existing gas powered fleet.
BobbyR
Yes, but no worse than gasoline. The tanks are strong and well protected in the vehicle structure.
