Fuel injector issues.

Have 07 LGT wagon

 

Pulled injectors to change the lower seals. Found out previous owner had installed some type of Bosch injector that doesn’t have the upper grommet. Got everything back together and started the beast up. Have a leak on the top of the driver side rear injector.

 

My question. Is it possible to have the injector in the rail and seated and reinstall and have there be a gap I guess. Even with the lower seal bad it wasn’t leaking fuel prior to me “fixing” it.

 

Is there a stand off spacer on the 07 rails like the ones cosworth sells or is it all one piece?

 

I ordered an Ebay seal kit for like $20 that has the grommets and I am picking up a set of STI blues tomorrow to change out.
