anotherjimmylee
2.5 XT I have noticed the upper radiator hose collapsing after the car is shut down. It goes back to shape after car is started back up. No over heating issues. I replaced both caps, upper hose and burped the cooling system. It is still collapsing. What's my next step? anotherjimmylee
Clogged expansion tank hose?Hose seemed okay, but the reservoir was pretty nasty. I cleaned it out, hopefully this resolves the issue. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
relative4
Take off the rad cap and blow into the expansion tank hose, see if there's a clog in the nipple, etc. First wash the hose thoroughly; ethylene glycol is tasty but not nutritious. Sounds like you're due for a good chemical flush. Any problems with the heater, particularly passenger side?

anotherjimmylee
Hose was clear, but the pipe for the overflow was clogged. Hopefully picking up a new one tomorrow, if in stock. I tried to clear the existing pipe with no success due to the bends in the pipe. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
