Hi people, i'm from Peru, this month buy a Legacy 2007/08, but not include AUX-IN but the radio include a buttom AUX dissabled. Searching and researching in the web / forums / ebay / etc find the solution, its very simple and cheap, only modify the 8-pin conector, add 5 cables and pins. 3 cables for the audio (gnd/left/rigth) and 2 for activate AUX function (conected together). Only select the ubication for the conector. In my Legacy put the conector in the center little door.

This mod its functional for the models Kenwood GX-204 series.

I dont know if this mod its in the forum but i hope it will serve.

Carlos, thank you so much mate! You have no idea how much you helped me out!

With the pinout layout you added, I was able to make it work in my Outback 2007.

The only thing I had to add, was a 4.9kOhm resistor on the Aux bridges for the radio to recognize it.

Thanks for the great information!
