subi_life Posted May 18, 2018 Share Posted May 18, 2018 So I’m doing a 6 speed swap on my 5eat legacy wagon. I’m usung the r180 rear diff, and I read that I can use my 5eat drive shaft with the 6 speed trans and R180 rear diff. But the mounting holes don’t line up between the drive shaft and rear diff. Can I just switch the flange from R160 rear diff to the R180 rear diff so the driveshaft mounting holes will line up. Also I need the torque specifications for the bolt holding the flange on for reinstall if all goes as planned. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
