MihaiFlorescu Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Hi guys, Looking for help since 2.5i is not that common in my area. I've noticed a strange (to me) behaviour from the radiator fans. They both turn on at 100 degrees Celsius (212F) and run till the temp gos down to ~95. It's strange as in my 2.0i impreza and my older WRX 2.0 as well the fan1 would go on at 96 and stop at about 89. Both fans turn on if I use the A/C and the temp stays at around 87-89. This of course happens just in stop&go city traffic. On the hwy it would show 80-90 range depending on speed and outside temp. Someone showed me this and said it is normal behaviour from EUDM ECU to operate like that (at higher temps), but I suspect a faulty relay. I've chekced the fuses and all are fine. No CEL. I could not pull out the relay with just a screw driver or clamps.
