I`ve had mine for over three years, bought it with 157,000 miles, now has just over 199,000 and still running strong. IMO, the 3.0 six is one of Subaru`s best engines . Very important to keep up with your oil changes, as this car has a cam chain, rather than cam belt, and is very dependent on clean oil to keep the system happy.
