2009 Forester XT - Water Pump Replacement

Recommended Posts

Sucks when you are not feeling it. I replaced the fuel lines under the intake on my wives XT recently and wasn't feeling the whole job at the time. Because of that I was getting sidetracked easily and it took longer than it should have.

Good luck on pushing through it!

Took about 3 hours working very relaxed to get to this point. I have a buddy coming over first thing in the morning to have a look before I start taking timing components off and have him double check as I put it back together. Feeling a little more comfortable with this but it's still a bunch of freaking spaghetti.

All done, the Fozz is running again with no leaks. About 8 hours of work all and all. Dealing with the timing belt and tensioner was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I just marked the belt and each sprocket with a silver Sharpie and getting it all lined back up was no problem at all.
