dfw-spec.b452 Posted March 21, 2018 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Hello I have had my spec b for a few years now and down shifting to 4 sometimes gets weird and going to reverse is a little grindy every once in a while. I am trying to decide between going with a used 5mt, rebuilding my current one, going to the sti 6mt and wondering if it would be better to go with 6mt out of the 07 spec b and not wondering if that is actually the same as the sti? Any help is greatly appreciated, I know my way around engines I actually rebuilt the one in my spec b currently. But I dont know much about transmissions beyond pulling them to swap a clutch.
