relative4
You need a better scanner, to read the ABS code that's triggering the P0500. Actually, you may be able to pull the code without a scanner: I'm not sure why this guy thinks people want to stare at his face for 46 seconds, but he gets around to it eventually. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/109-gen-3-2005-2009/19053-05-06-09-how-read-diagnostic-trouble-codes-dtcs.html http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/code-reader-23292.html?t=23292&highlight=code
madrig
to clarify my 2006 gt canadian do not have the diagnostic connector ( withe ) or the green one . to read the code thru the dash is possible key position on light on odometer reset 4 time light off odometer reset 4 time you can read P code and C code . meier motor sports
as far as i am aware there is no output speed sensor, it is just looking at all 4 wheel speed sensors for vehicle speed
madrig
as far as i am aware there is no output speed sensor, it is just looking at all 4 wheel speed sensors for vehicle speed yes this is what i was thinking , this why i ask where is the speed sensor on the transmission . look like some transmission have this kind of sensor 85082AE000 but i think is earlier model of manual transmision . i think i read somewhere that the front right abs sensor is one for the signal , but have no really technical knowledge on that . relative4
See http://people.csail.mit.edu/ilh/vacation/ This is for a 2005, but I expect the diagnostic procedures for these codes will be the same. See page 3971, with the corresponding procedures immediately afterward.
madrig
changed the front right abs sensor and problem is fix code 0107 . so yes abs sensor fault will trigger p code speed sensor . so i guess other code are related to that 0107 code or are been stored . unplugged the battery and the c code still there , p code erase , so i guess you need a diagnostic tool to clear abs code .
