Based purely on anecdotal evidence, I do have fears that turbo charged engines do not have the same life expectancy as that of NA engines. I know today's turbos are better than the early ones, but I still have nagging concerns .... perhaps they are unwarranted ??.... I actually hope they are, because turbo engines are so widely used by all manufacturers these days, that it limits my choice of my next vehicle dramatically if I eliminate them from my future purchase options. I'll be looking for a new car in approx 2 years time, and this will be guaranteed to be my last one, and it will be a "keeper," .... so "longevity" is of prime importance for me.
