voyetra8 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 There is an Autozone about a mile from me in Dorchester, but it's small and sucks. Where do you guys go?
HungHing88 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 it depends on what kind of stuff you wnat to get.
voyetra8 Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 Just general automotive supplies. Sandpaper, bulbs, wax, oil filters, etc...
gibjer Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I have had decent luck with my local VIP, granted it's a small store, but they tend to have everything that I need (accept oil) Filters I just get from my subaru dealer since I pass it on my way home and they are open late on thursdays. Subaguru Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I usually go to Pep Boys. It seems to be the best around (in Dedham almost on the W. Roxbury line Route 1). I'm not overly thrilled with them, but compared to Lappen's (now Advance Autoparts), they're definitely better.
andrew.anderson Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Just general automotive supplies. Sandpaper, bulbs, wax, oil filters, etc... Automotive supplies...sandpaper? You don't generally associate sandpaper with automotive suppplies.
scans007 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 ^^ I do I've used it a bunch of times with my car travles. I can NEVER get away with just go'n to one place when I need something. Usually I need Tools, Paint, Bolts, Nutz, Oil, filters, blah blah....I usually have to stop at 2 or 3 places to get everything. Aubuchon as treated me really well though they have a pretty good spread of stuff - best for bolts and stuff, but only seem to be out here on the west side of mass
