relative4 Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 That's the wrong engine for your car (it's for a non-turbo car), and used turbos should only be purchased by people capable of properly evaluating them. Same goes for engines, really. You should really leave the acquisition to whoever is doing the rebuild/replacement. The important thing is to find someone both qualified and trustworthy. You know they're just selling through for someone like LKQ, right? http://www.car-part.com or maybe search the JDM importer sites. Direct drop-in engines are limited to 05-06 LGT/OBXT and 04-07 Forester XT, 06 WRX. You can use later motors with SAI (starts in 07 on the LGT) but you'll need to block off the ports (plates are available) and probably have it tuned as the heads breathe a little better.
