robburns201
Why does my abs kick on so quickly? I understand that it's snowing out but I'm barley putting on the brakes and my pedal goes to the floor then abs starts happening...I can't put on my brakes light enough...wth Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk

Wasted Potential
Disable it and put an edelbrock sticker over the light. Just kidding.
relative4
1yr old all seasons... Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk Brand and model? Tread depth? Miles? Going to the floor is a matter for concern, is that actually happening? How do the brakes behave on dry pavement?
robburns201
On dry pavement they are fine...nothing at the very top but by the time I'm half way I'm stopped... I'll check brand but I don't have depth gauge...they are 225 50 17... Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk

Going to be difficult to answer your question without the relevant information. they are 225 50 17... That diameter is fully 5% larger than stock. You may need to consider the possibility that it's throwing off the ABS system's calculations.
robburns201
Starfire tires 215 50 17 with year on them...in dry conditions I have no problem... could I just need pads and rotors? Gonna get studs tires and see if that helps... Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
relative4
Starfire tires 215 50 17 with year on them... Personally I would never drive Walmart tires in the snow, with or without my family in the car, but even bottom-end manufacturers like that have their cheaper and better models, so without a model name we still have little or no information. And of course without tread depth or mileage we have zero information.
