removing strut hat bolts bc-coilovers

Yep, you guessed it. I over-torqued the bolts on the top of the strut.

And yes, I finally bought a torque wrench.

 

Do you think I could remove and replace the bolts while the strut is on the car? Do these need to be pressed out or could I use a punch?

You won't be able to remove the studs while the coilovers are still on the car as they are pressed into the tap hats. You might be able to get away with a punch but getting them pressed out would probably be the best route
