SoCal Region Moderator

Any members interested in moderating the SoCal Region?

 

If you are, here's my requirements/expectations for all moderators – pretty straightforward.

 

• That you already have a minimum of one year membership in good standing - prefer 3 or more so there's a good experience basis and a sense of how the site works, but a solid "1" works
  
• Demonstrate leadership by example and the ability to apply rational (critical) thinking when members want to take things off the rails - willing to step-in and de-conflict as necessary - typically not an issue in SoCal...everyone's mellow.
  
• That you not be viewed as someone who relishes power for themselves, or finds ways to denigrate or minimize other members - that won't fly
  
• Comfortable reaching across forums to enforce our community standards and help out when/if necessary - always appreciated greatly.
  
• Is a donating member - Must have skin in the game. Thank you again.
  
• That you check-in with the mod forum 2-3x a week, more is better, but 2-3x keeps you and us all in the loop - we're a community, so knowing what's going on, or what may be brewing, is always helpful.
