SLegacy99
Yes, I enjoy driving the car with the CVT. I don't think I'm ready for a CVT in my DD but this is her car, so she's happy. I feel the same way. Every time that I drive the Outback, I really am impressed with the way that the CVT behaves.
Chris GTO TT
I really like the '18 updates, but I'm thinking we're going to wait for either the next gen Outback on the global platform or whenever they update the Ascent. 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight

Yeah, that's what I said. Until the dealer offered us $8k for our Honda.
BMCracer
Can you totally remove the roof racks / rails, so the roof is smooth like a normal car? I like these new outbacks, except for the massive roof racks, high ride height, and lots of black plastic bumpers / guard arches etc. Don't know why they didn't make a Legacy version like they've always done before. Max Capacity
You may be able to swap the Outback roof rails for the Turing Outbacks smaller rails. To remove them you would need some way to seal the holes. Welding ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). myselfahmad
I like the rear braking, the grey inside, the 5 spoke wheel, and the radio, which fills the car with sound more like my 05 waggon does. You can mark and count words of mine. Edited December 19, 2022 by myselfahmad
Max Capacity
Figured I'd post a recent photo. The car has around 45,800 miles now. We'll be picking up the 24' Outback XT next Friday. It will sit in the other side of the garage. 1 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
