supercow2610 Posted September 13, 2017 Share Posted September 13, 2017 I'm thinking of upgrading the HU to double din aftermarket. I stil want to keep to oem sub since i dont plan on running amps. The sub is connected to the factory hu thru the t harness. will the sub work if i just wire the after,arket hu harness to the t harness? Heres the diagram for ease of visulization Old setup: Factory harness ->t harness-> hu and oem sub New setup Factory harness -> t harness-> aftermarket hu harness -> aftermarket hu and oem sub. Also, do you guys know what the rms for the factory hu? Mine is similar to the attached image. I have the non hk 4 speaker setup without factory sub which was added later w t harness.
