Turtlsdown
Couldn't find anything similar using the forum search. I'm looking to replace the rear-left door on my own. Are there any write-ups or guides that anyone knows of? Is this doable even?
I Donated Too sigmafour Posted August 28, 2017 I Donated Too Share Posted August 28, 2017 yes it's doable... are you handy and have decent set of tools and some patience?
Dispatch20
It's simple. There are 4 bolts on the hinges, 2 bolts on the arm that limits door travel, and one electrical plug tucked inside the car protected by a rubber grommet. The rear doors aren't too heavy, so a single person can do it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Turtlsdown
As long as it's bolts and not rivets. I once tried doing work on a door on my Grand Marquis and it turned out a lot of it was riveted (dont have a rivet gun nor pneumatic setup). Bolts I should be able to handle. So no need for any special procedure or guide, yeh? Common sense and tools should be good to go?
