Bren
My 2008 Legacy 2.5i has been showing these errors for some time. My SnapOn Solus tester shows all 4 wheel sensors reading the exact same mph, so those sensors are not failing. There are time where there's intermittent pulsing in the brake (ABS pulse), but the light does not come on. When traveling at 65mph with cruise on, it shuts off, ABS light and Err SS shows. This seems to be a common issue, that no one seems to know how to fix. Any suggestions?? Apologies is thread was posted before...I couldn't find it. relative4
If the ABS light is on, the ABS module is throwing a code. Your Solus should be able to pull that code.
Bren
Thanks for the advice. We've discovered our Solas tester isn't working correctly, so we loaned one from the MAC tool guy. It read different codes from ours, so here's to hoping. It's an annoying code, that won't allow the cruise control to function, plus the pulsing in the brake pedal is annoying.
