Personally, I would rather drop down to 17s which would allow me to get better tires and have more ride comfort via larger sidewall and (about 40lbs) less unsprung weight. But, as pointed out in the video, reducing sidewall size increases steering response, at the expense of steering feel. It's counter-intuitive to what he said, but the logic is that by having a thinner tire (195 vs 225) you have less resistance to direction change, and the larger sidewall allows weight to shift more, if all else is equal.
