bluewaggo
ok here we go 06 legacy wagon on swift springs/kyb struts. soon to have 1/4 butt spacers and camber adjusting upper rear arms.. so I test fitted my 18x8.5 48et wheels and I lovvveee it. but I needed tires before actually running them, so I found a local deal on some 245/40/18s... the old 235/40/18s are already a lil close to the front strut...anyone have any experience with a 245?? should I get ready to buy some spacers? thanks in advance
Rhitter
245/40/18s are a little tall. Your will probably need to roll your fenders for perfect fitment. 245/35/18 fits much better (but still probably need to roll your fenders) On 18x8.5 et44 with 245/35/18 magnusonsubie needed to have rolled fenders for it all to clear. But, he said it actually fit a little better then his 235/40/18s. I compared your wheel specs to mine on Willtheyfit.com. I think you will probably have some rubbing in the rear. I have 255/40/18 on 18x9 et 40. And I needed a 3mm spacer (effectively et37 now) in order to get the rear wheel to clear the fender liner. I also had to roll the rear fender lip flat (but our rear body work is slightly different). My OBXT build
bluewaggo
Yeah I think I'll end up getting them rolled to be safe...
