gtscooby Posted June 24, 2017 Share Posted June 24, 2017 2005 Ej255 Legacy GT. On cold startup it acts like it cant get its idle correctly. It sounds like a super muffled missfire with rough idle maybe a little smoke from the exhaust. Usualy goes away within 5 or 6 seconds. If the car is warm it wont do it. Every once in a while it will throw a lean code as well. Bank 2 O2 sensor is new, Camshaft positioning sensors have been replaced, new spark plugs, all new exhaust gaskets, no boost leaks, and a fresh turbo rebuild. What is there left to check? I was thinking maybe the knock sensor might be starting to go, but I dont know if that would result in a lean code. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
