dbRoboturner
I'm trying to replace the automatic shift knob with an aftermarket one. The knob I purchased doesn't have the metal rod that goes into the shift casing. So, I can't remove my key from the ignition with the new knob on. I'm wondering if there's anyway to take rod out of the original part? I know I can work out a way to put in the new knob, but I'd like to remove the rod without destroying the original.
