relative4
I am in the process of installing a Perrin turbo inlet in my '05 LGT, and I've found that the connection for the hose from the air box has a 70mm outside diameter. The stock connection is 72.5mm. The hose, predictably enough, just flops around on the Perrin's connection. I haven't yet tightened up the hose clamp to see if it works out, but certainly this ain't 100% right. Can people with Perrin inlets tell me about their experience with this issue? Thanks! The 2Fiver
Just tighten it up. If it really bothers you maybe run some electrical tape around the coupler and make up the 2.5 mm. I found the stock afta-maf hose was crooked with the perrin tube and pushed the air box askew. There's a cheap hose on eBay. Search "torque solutions afta-maf LGT". It's $35 but needs to be trimmed slightly on the airbox side for a perfect fit, the Perrin hose is over $70 and probably needs to be trimmed since you're fitting it to a wrx inlet. relative4
Thanks. The Perrin hose is closer to $90 now and doesn't seem worth it. I have some nice high-temperature electrical tape, I think that's my answer.
