dkodyl
Pioneer In-Car Navigation If you thought in-car navigation systems were only about guiding you from point A to point B, then check out what the latest models from Pioneer can do. The new Raku Navi models, which combine a DVD drive and hard drive, include voice recognition for major functions; tailor the map to highlight addresses, facilities, or major roads; and suggest better routes to avoid congestion. They include a comprehensive entertainment system that can rip CDs to the 30GB hard disk. These new systems have an IPod connection that lets you stream from and control the music player; they also receive digital TV with the appropriate add-on tuner. The devices are due in Japan starting in November; the top-of-the-line AVIC-HRZ09 will cost nearly $2400. They won't be available overseas.
