DeChache
So you need the 3rd gen top hats with the 3rd gen struts?
RustyRuu
4th gen front top hats, 3rd gen struts. rears bolt right up Edited April 13, 2017 by RustyRuu
Somac
The only thing incompatible between BE/BH struts and shocks and BL/BP struts and shocks are the front tophats. Retain your original tophats in the front and everything bolts up.
OLsubedrvr
I'm "bumping" in to ask similar question. I have a 99 Legacy SUS needing susp soon. I want to keep it as stock as possible. Can I use 04 Leg/OB wgn struts/shock on both front & rear? Any other bolt on options, looking to get used OEM if possible. ItsjustisaacGT
So if I got gen 4 coilovers for my Gen 3 they wouldn't fit?
A. Daigh
Wondering if anyone can help me with a strut mount issue i'm having... I have a third gen bh wagon. Recently bought 4th gen Bilstein b6's and jdm pinks. attempted to install with the 4th gen tophat and the bearing on USDM strut mount is to thick and does not expose enough thread to get the nut on far enough. I have read that I need JDM strut mounts but am having a hard time finding them for 3rd gen. Any ideas?? thanks
