SBT
Welcome to the site. Moved this to the 4th Gen Turbo Powertrain forums where you'll likely get a more timely and complete answer. Question: Is this a certified HKS BOV. There were some SSQ-III copycat versions, in circulation, and they had issues exactly like you mention. How to tell if genuine or copycat version found here Beyond that, make sure that your mating surfaces are clean, smooth and have a good gasket, properly tightened. Ensure your recirculation hose is equally on and tight to the neck... if you're not venting 100% to atmosphere. In that case, you may be suffering from rich condition. Some good tech info here, and I'm sure others will chime in. Again, welcome and hope you get this resolved easily. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
