spacemanspif
Anyone else run into this problem? Driving mrs. Spif's car the past few days I realize that I'm getting blinded by headlights but the auto dim mirror doesn't change because the sensor at the bottom is shaded by the trunk spoiler. Thinking about moving the sensor but thought I'd see if other people had a easier fix other than the "just deal with it" method.
MilesA
I installed a manual mirror that was taken off a brand new Subaru for $20. Some might say it's a "downgrade" but not for me because I am happy to be in control instead of relying on gadgets that don't really work all that well. Don't miss the compass since my phone has navigation.

spacemanspif
No bigger wings, if she didn't like the one she has so much I'd just remove it and plug the holes. Windows have 20% tint already. Thanks for the smart answers, I'll just stick to my plan of relocating the sensor.
MilesA
Sorry we did not live up to your standards, milord. My original rear view mirror developed optical flaws, so I chose to go with the old reliable manual mirror which I prefer. That was not a smart answer, it's the truth.
