Bilstein/swifts/1" lift spacers question

Recommended Posts

I've been sitting with the idea that lowering my sedan would be a cool idea, but the roads are a bit treacherous throughout my neighborhood that it keeps me from doing so. I've already got the whole kit ready to swap in. And selling and buying coils would defeat the the reason I got the set..really cheap..

I want the sporty ride and flat handling. Just not so much of a drop. Combining the kit and the 1" lift got my attention to try. Has anyone tried such an idea? Or am I crazy?

Wouldn't recommend the lowering spring/lift spacer combo for up front. At that point you'll have a reduced suspension travel of a lowered macpherson strut car, at near-stock height.

Not sure where you'd go about finding stiffer stock-height springs for these cars.
