Non-limited seat fix

It's been done. About 3/4" to 1" was about right in that case. 1.5" was way too much. He actually cut a bar and welded in spacers that the front of the seat pivots on when you adjust the height of the rear of the seat.

I'm too lazy to search right now, but I'm sure you can find if you search terms like "seat weld" or something.

Nevermind .. I found it. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18323

I did it and am very happy with the result.

If you take a close look at how the seat bolts to the car you will see that washers will not work, cause of the angle.

The only area you have to be careful of is re-routing the airbag wire. I spent much time testing to see if any situation would allow for a pinched wire or excess wear on a wire and I believe it is good. Be careful though!
