neelnug
My biggest problem with the non-limited seats is that lack of bucket adjustability. I just can't angle the seat bottom high enough... not enough thigh support. Do you think it is possible to angle the seat bottom up using some washers? agctr
Yeah u could but it might mean pulling the WHOLE seat apart. Have a look in the manual and see if there is a seat construction diagram and see if u can tool it up from there. Best of luck. Ada///M.
mwiener2
you're gonna need alot of washers to make a noticeable difference My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
agctr
Correct, I think for every washer, you are really only going to have a few MM of play but I do think u are on the right track. Ada///M.
neelnug
Maybe I could create a spacer...
agctr
Yeah I think that would be the way to go. But you will serioulsy have to look at the seat construction prior to tackling anything. Best of luck with it. Ada///M.
Brady
It's been done. About 3/4" to 1" was about right in that case. 1.5" was way too much. He actually cut a bar and welded in spacers that the front of the seat pivots on when you adjust the height of the rear of the seat. I'm too lazy to search right now, but I'm sure you can find if you search terms like "seat weld" or something. Nevermind .. I found it. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18323

LittleBlueGT
I did it and am very happy with the result. If you take a close look at how the seat bolts to the car you will see that washers will not work, cause of the angle. The only area you have to be careful of is re-routing the airbag wire. I spent much time testing to see if any situation would allow for a pinched wire or excess wear on a wire and I believe it is good. Be careful though!
