Curry Posted October 17, 2016 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I recently upgraded my factory turbo to a vf40, car runs fine but when i idle or stop in traffic nothing but clouds of white smoke come out of the exhaust i really want to fix this problem but dont know where to start.. yes the coolant level is good and so is the oil Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The smoke is either oil or coolant burning and the 1st place I would look is at the turbo. Pull the DP and IC off and check for any fresh oil/coolant in the housing or around.
