th3w1rez
A head gasket blew on my 2010 Legacy and I'm wondering whether anybody has seen this on a six year old car. It seems like something that shouldn't happen until well after 100k miles. A few questions: 1. Is there anyway I can get Subaru to cover the cost of the repair given the age of my car? 2. If not, how much should it cost? 3. Is this a common problem with Subarus? Have there been TSBs, warranty extensions, etc.? Thanks.
GTEASER
It happens, but it's not overly common. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/add-me-gt-head-gasket-failure-list-255946.html?t=255946&highlight=head+gasket I would suggest that you focus your discussion and search on the 5th Gen section (2010-2014). You'll get much more pertinent info there. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
