Move to America.

FTFY

In all seriousness, I thought the court decision over there said they could only deny permits for cause? Or am I mistaken?

Time for another class action... first to allow the exercise of your rights, 2nd to recover the money they stole from you to deny your rights... + damages.

Or, just move to America... :p

Played with a 6.5mm Creedmoor yesterday, guy I used to work with who retired had it. His son works for H-S Precision and built it for him. Let me shoot it. Silly accurate. Do want.

Received my "dear john" letter from the Chief of Police last week. I have been denied a CCW permit. Only cost me about $750 to be denied.

They at least tell you why? Something like the ole "you did something as a kid that could be considered a felony as an adult" BS?

No explanation. They give you the name and contact of the original interviewing officer if you have any questions. When I inquired the response was something like "after completion of the back ground investigation the chief decided to deny the application". I have never been arrested and I have never been cited for anything more than a misdemeanor traffic violation. No DWI, etc.

California moves farther and farther left of America every day.

Yeah that sucks! No wonder people just up and don't follow the laws. Not hinting to break the laws especially in Cali.

I have been arrested.... just never for a violent crime or domestic abuse... just renewed my CCW earlier this year. How 5 years flies by.

Here in the state of Ohio, a crime of violence (not a full blown DV or Felonious Assault) only bars you from CHL for up to 3 years from date of conviction. After that you still good to go even w/o sealing your records.

Not exactly sure how a violent crime that isn't a felony would effect your right to conceal and carry in WI as I have never looked into it. I just know simply being arrested and convicted of certain non-violent crimes doesn't hinder your ability to CC.

I like how most of these are all pretty universal within other states, and then there is just "Escape".

Is the 10 mm round a common size?

It's the same size as .40

.40" = .3937mm

Technically, .40cal and 10mm are .401 (plated)

The difference is the case size. 10mm casings are much bigger.

When I used to buy ammo, I always went to

gunbot.net

Near real time stock and pricing. You can even sort by price per round.

Now I load my own or work issues it. If I need something weird, I use gunbot.

How is the price of ammunition compared to its more common brethren?

Always more expensive per round. Around where I am, 9mm right now is about $.20 - $.24 per round. 10mm is anywhere between $.38-$.50 per round (depending on manufacture)
