The seats were a little dirty when I bought it two years old, but have continued to get dirtier. I have had it professionally detailed and cleaned them myself several times, over the 4 years, but through normal use they just continue to get dirtier. I was wondering if anyone has used a fabric paint/dye to recolor their seats and what kind of an experience you've had. I wish they would clean up, but after my experiences, that doesn't look likely. GTEASER Posted September 7, 2016 Share Posted September 7, 2016 It's probably easier to pick up a set of black cloth or black leather seats, or even white leather, from a salvage yard. Both Legacy and Outback seats will work fine, so it shouldn't be an issue finding some. Plus, they are nothing special so they shouldn't cost much. Are there concerns or anything I would need to deal with in replacing the seats or using seat covers in relation to the air bags? I've heard you can't use seat covers with air bags.
