bman
I replaced both rear bearings of my sister's '05 Outback in May. I used TIMKEN HA590119. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1119780&cc=1430734&jsn=351 A few weeks ago she started to complain about noise again coming from the rear. I was swamped at work so she took it to our family mechanic. Diagnosis: bad bearing. He replaced it with a Subaru bearing (28473AG00B). That's 50% failure in 4 months! I don't blame RockAuto for the bad bearing. I thought Timken was a reliable brand? RockAuto can send me another bearing but, that's useless since I don't trust Timken now. There wasn't a rating system on RockAuto's website so I thought I'd share my experience here.
