morrocco88
I've been wanting to do this for a few years now, and finally got my buddy to machine a custom JDM L7 badge for my custom grill project. We drew it based on a plastic badge from JDM land, and blew it up to 3" tall, then cut it out of aluminum on a CNC mill. It looks like a good size for my grill, but I can scale it to any size. I will cut out the center plastic, and make my own mesh with the badge in the center. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/922/IINgSf.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/921/mXu5xO.jpg I'm going to power coat and paint and try a few different looks http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/922/NFuXPZ.jpg I'm going to powder coat and paint, polish, brush and try a few different looks. I will try to post back with pictures when I get more time to play with it. Just thought I would share.
grovlet
WOW - you need to clean up the bumper before worrying about badges.... Looks good though:) FYI - GrafxWerks does Vinyl overlays to go right over the original badges - and they offer L7 options in tons of color combinations:cool: (Just in case you run into issues with the one your working on)
