reesejo20
I could really use some help. I have some smoke coming in through my vent system in my 1996 Subaru legacy L. It was low on water a couple days ago. so I filled it back up. none of the fluids are mixed in with eachother or anything like that. just Unsure on where to go with this. don't really have the money to fix it. but I am pretty handy with a wrench. I thought it was the motor. but I honestly do not believe that anymore. HELP PLEASE
Wheelbuilder_25
Is one of your front CV boots torn and throwing grease onto the exhaust ? Possibly the transmission output seals are leaking transmission fluid onto the exhaust ? That's where I'd start looking.
apexi
You sure it's not just water vapor from the ac, if the ac was on? I had smoke/water vapor coming out of my hvac vents in my legacy today actually.
reesejo20
It was water vapor mixed with some anti freeze. I disconnected the heating core. :/ looks like a pain in the ass to take it out and replace it.
