jeannie
So I was cleaning my battery terminal when I noticed this hose was kind of cracked And messed up. I've been trying to find it in the manual but I can't. So I was hoping you guys might know what this hose is for? chucks06LGT
Looks like maybe a return hose for the fuel....
utc_pyro
The middle one is an emissions line going to the fuel tank. Something to do with evaporative emissions. The top and bottom two are fuel lines.
jeannie
Ok thank you!! Do you think that would make a p0171 code come up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
apexi
In my opinion no. P0171 is system too lean. Do you have any mods? My guess is maybe an intake leak somewhere, or disconnected vacuum hose. *In the link below, covertrussian basically says that hose sends fuel vapors to be burned instead of them being vented to the atmosphere. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/middle-hose-fuel-hard-lines-going-into-and-under-intakei-227855.html So on second though, I guess it is possible that hose could contribute to p0171, but i don't know, I'm interested to hear what others say. jeannie
Well I reset my ECU and the check engine light hasn't come back on yet anyway. So we will see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GeraldG
This happened to me a month ago. Flashing cruise with CEL. Same code. It was just a diconnected hose.
jeannie
Really that sucks. I just got my fuel pressure regulator fixed so hopefully that was it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I Donated Too sigmafour Posted June 20, 2016 I Donated Too Share Posted June 20, 2016 Could be any of several. Favorite places to look are the blue T under the intercooler - I've had the FPR hose pop off a few times which is on right hand side - intake number 4 and the MAP sensor hose recently came off too - front of intake behind the alternator - but run the car and listen for sucking hissing sound is how I usually find them!
