FullStaffd
Trying to find the correct mounts for this car. All the part guides (AZone/RockAuto/NAPA) more or less point to something that look nothing like originals. The particulars: 2000 Legacy Wagon L Standard 2.5L engine w/ 5 speed manual Color = wintergreen on grey All my normal sources (and a couple abnormal at this point) link to this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=474782&cc=1358210&jsn=397 So I went digging some more and finally found this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=4663929&cc=1430732&jsn=493&jsn=493 The second listing looks a whole lot like what I have. It comes in left/right variance which matches my setup, BUT is listed for 4th gen. Anyone come across where a transition part jumped from a later to an earlier generation (5 years!!!) or have I just been driving an oddball? RumbleRumble
There is two styles of mounts. The OEM rubber ones that look tall and the group n style harden mounts that are layered. Either you get OEM rubber ones or get the original group n mounts. Both cost under 100 a mount
FullStaffd
Does that mean these are interchangeable? If so, how do I attach them to the engine? I'm not seeing how the ones I bought (I think what you called group n) attach. Do they screw into a hole in the bottom of the engine? Assume this is the first time I've done major work on the car. Thanks for the help.
RumbleRumble
Yeah they are interchangeable but for the group n you need specific plates
