Luminati Posted October 8, 2005 Author Share Posted October 8, 2005 Got back from the track last night, there weren't that many cars there, so i got about 12- 14 runs in. There was a EVO running 7.9-8.1 @ only 64 MPH!! WTF? There was also a 01 Camaro SS running 8.1's. It was about 60 or so degrees tonight the clodest night in a long time. I think i got my launch about as good as its gonna get. My 60ft was 1.8882, I launch at 5000 rpm's and let the clutch slip a little. This was also my best time of the night also. This happened right after i iced down my intercooler for a few mins. It wasn't a redline drop, that'll put me into a crazy burnout... its at what ever RPM indicated when the tach needle is pointing straight up (5,250?) Mblock66 Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 You would have put up a mid 13 with that 1/8 mile time I ran 8.662 1/8 and then trapped a 13.65 1/4 so you are JUST faster.
