I tried to use voice recognition tune to a radio station (navigation was active at this time), but when I pushed the voice button on the steering wheel, I got an error message saying that an iPhone was not connected. My wife's iPhone (which had been registered with the system) was in the car, but I was not trying to use Siri; I just wanted voice recognition, which should not require a bluetooth connected iPhone.
